Wang Qiming(1933.7.5- ) 光电子学家。祖籍晋江。1956年毕业于复旦大学物理系。研究员 、博士生导师,中科院院士。中国科学院半导体研究所研究员,曾任该所所长。参与筹建中国半导体测试基地,建立了一系列材料测试系统。1963年开始致力于半导体光电子学研究,在中国首先研制成连续激射的室温半导体激光器,先后使短波长和长波长激光器寿命突破10万小时,达到实用水平。发现了双异质结构激光器中出现反常自脉动,正向负阻开关和记忆开关等现象,提出了双光丝Q开关机制,界面态载流子陷落存贮机制以及自掺杂反向击穿机制等,为深入研究提供了理论基础。
